This Lyon print shows the white Basilica of Notre Dame de Fourviere on its wooded hill above the old town of Lyon and the River Saone. Flat mid century shapes sit on the black and white photograph: a sand sun behind the basilica and thin forest green stripes on the river, under a pale sage sky. The city name sits below in bold type, with the landmark beneath it and the coordinates along the foot.
Work on the basilica began in 1872, on the hill where the Roman city of Lugdunum once stood. It is No. 15 of our 30 European city posters, all in the same rust, gold and sage palette.
Supplied unframed unless a frame option is selected above. Choose your size from the options; frames shown are for styling inspiration.
