Guida alla collezione

Our Swiss design posters follow the International Typographic Style: a strict grid, clean sans serif type, flat colour and one simple image or shape on each sheet. Every print in a series shares the same layout, typeface and palette, so two, three or a whole wall of them hang together.

Start with the kitchen series, everyday food and drink drawn in flat shapes with a word in German and a short deadpan line in English, and look out for new bathroom and typographic series as they arrive.

Domande su Swiss Design Posters

What is a Swiss design poster?

A poster in the International Typographic Style that grew up in Switzerland in the 1950s: a strict grid, sans serif type set flush left, flat colour and a single clear image or shape.

Why are the words in German?

Swiss posters were often set in German, and the short German word with an English line beneath is a nod to that tradition. Each print explains its word in English.

Do the prints work as a set?

Yes. Every print in a series uses the same grid, typeface and cream background, so they look right side by side or as a gallery wall.

Which rooms suit Swiss style prints?

Kitchens and dining rooms for the food and drink series, bathrooms for the bathroom series, and studies, studios and home offices for the typographic prints.

What sizes are available?

Sizes run from A4 (21 x 29.7cm, 8 x 12 in) up to A0 (84.1 x 118.9cm, 32 x 48 in), plus popular sizes such as 30 x 40cm and 50 x 70cm.
