Ciao Steps is playful Italian wall art that says hello in four colours. The lowercase word ciao stands on one baseline near the bottom of a warm cream poster, each fat, rounded letter taller than the one before: a charcoal c, a mustard i with its dot, an orange-red a, and a dusty blue o that reaches almost to the top. Above them, thin black vertical pinstripes stop just short of each letter, leaving a fine cream gap that follows every outline.
Ciao is the everyday Italian greeting for hello and goodbye, and the stepped letters and retro palette give it a sunny, mid-century mood. This Italian wall art feels at home in a kitchen, dining room, hallway or living room, and makes a lovely gift for anyone who loves Italy, Italian food or a long lunch.
Printed on premium matte paper, the print gives crisp, flat colour with a smooth, non-reflective finish, and it arrives unframed to fit standard frame sizes. For a pair of Italian wall art prints, hang it beside Ciao Rosso, where tall cream CIAO letters stand on deep oxblood red.
